Excellent food, pleasant surroundings and staff and truly dog friendly.

We have had two excellent meals at the Dog, an evening meal in September 2010 and a lunchtime lighter meal in November (were calling in to collect some marmalade and decided soup and a roll was in order). In both cases we, and our dog, were made welcome and the food was marvelous. The highlight (according to my husband) was the vesuvius of liver and mash, but everything was very tasty and "home cooked".

Mooring Description :
Plenty at the Bridge.
Food Description :
See above. We cannot comment on childfriendliness as we're a couple of old coots!

Have visited The Dog a number of times over the last 10 years. Evening meals very good but if you want a lunchtime snack, forget it!! We were in there at lunchtime last September, and we saw a party of 6 and a party of 4 walk out because the menu was too "full-on" If they catered for lunch-time visitors who only wanted a snack, i.e.Sandwiches, Bowls of Chips, Burgers etc, I'm sure they would see a difference in their takings.

Good moorings, worth a little walk.

Worth a visit for the food if you have time to spare.

Generally very run down and whilst the Landlord appeared to have attitude he was OK when he got talking. Vary busy with certainly not enough staff.

Been visiting the pub for years, through several owners. The real ale is always top-notch. They have a very interesting range of vodkas. If your very brave, try the peppered vodka. This pub feels like your drinking in a friends from lounge rather than a pub. Very friendly and knowledgeable bar staff.

Mooring Description :
Plenty of moorings available at Ludham Bridge.
Food Description :
As with so many Broads pubs, they don't do sandwiches but the offerings always look appetising.
