A superb independent pub with it's own brewery (CHB) on site. Superb ales and excellent food.

Cracking pub but has a downside

A lovely pub, just 5 mins away from Norwich Yacht Station. Ales are brewed on premises, with a house bitter (TAP) through to the stronger ales. GOLD is their newest ale and a cracking pint it is. The downside to this pub is that it is very very smokey at certain times:-( The pub has now erected outdoor heaters with cover. So that does ease the problem. A very friendly pub, pricing of ales is very good, staff are very good and it's only 5 mins away from NYS. Not really suitable for kids, as there is nothing for them to do whilst here.

Mooring Description :
Nearest mooring is at Norwich Yacht Station, the next closest would be the Riverside area and about a 20min walk away would be the BA moorings near the Rushcutter pub.
Food Description :
The food here is superb. Always served without major delays. Portions are not over generous but then they don't charge the earth either. You'll eat and be sated rather than stuffed.
