expensive mooring charge |
great location for town. £10.00 mooring fee redeemable against food. but we didn't eat but spent far more than the table next to us who had food but we never got the £10.00 returned.
More importantly the disabled facilities are dreadful and very unhelpful to say the least! when asked about a disabled toilets i was totally ignored at first as the receptionist was too busy chat her male college! when i finally got a response it was very curt and dismissive! |

Far to expensive should reconsider refund against drinks as we spend far more than the neighbouring table did on food.

Room and food poor |
We stayed here for 5 days in Aug 2011 and apparentlk had a refurbished room but would never have guessed. Paint daubed on fittings and sealant around bedroom mirror smeared about 1" all round on glass. Shower no more than a drip. Paid extra for river view but when sat at (rickety) table couldn't see river for the concrete bar runningh across. Only time we have ever complained in a hotel and given 10% off. |

I Wouldn't Bother Again! |
This place has a great location .... but that's about all it has going for it unfortunately. Three of us visited for a lunchtime meal in August 2008 - the place was clean enough but the menu is extremely limited and severely lacking in vegetarian options. Snack options available and food not too expensive but I wouldn't visit again. Adnams Explorer or East Green were on offer .... the East Green wasn't that spectacular. |

As mentioned, the lunchtime hot food menu is limited although sandwiches and baguettes are also available. Very poor selection if, like me, you are vegetarian ... it was pasta (yawn!) or an omelette ! As my companions decided to go for the carvery, I managed to persuade the girl taking food orders to allow me to have an omelette with carvery veg. I asked for cheese in it ... I think they just waved the slab of cheese over the top and put it back in the fridge! We arrived just as the carvery opened so I would have expected the veg to be freshly cooked ... I think they must have been re-heated or had been sitting there for ages as they were extremely dry and shrivelled. Now I don't like my veg to be overcooked, these however were barely cooked and my two elderly companions had great difficulty in chewing them. None of us were at all happy with the meal that we had even if it was inexpensive. I certainly won't be rushing back here!

tired and dated |
unfortunatley stopped off here for a quick meeting. Bar area really dull dated and tired. y stewed coffee was appalling. the plastic pots of fake milk and cream. Think there aiming for the 60+ age group.
The prices £3.30 for a pint if stella is horrific. Our friend real ale was around the £3 mark too. Its more expensive than our local in central London. we left after 1 drink. We ended up in the Kings Head where I am writing this and their review from. The Kings Head scores much better in my opinion. I wrote that review seperately |

Hotel Wroxham |
We stayed here on 20th April. The rooms were decorated in an older style but had been recently decorated and were in very good condition. The windows and door out onto the balcony looked very new.
The staff were very friendly and helpfull.
The room prices are very reasonable in my opinion. |

We had a bar meal for lunch which was OK, I would eat here again. Had a nice pint or three overlooking the bridge on a sunny day - Perfect!!
As mentioned the prices are slightly on the higher side.
The breakfast was also very good and we were encouraged to go back for seconds!!
