Topic: Sale of Moonlight Shadow Shares

SueH    -- Oct-19-2017 @ 1:38 PM
Due to a change of circumstances we are having to sell our shares in Moonlight Shadow.

Shadow is an AquaFibre 38, broads cruiser.  She has six berths in three cabins one of which is a bunk room, two toilet/shower rooms one ensuite.  A raised steering position with a retracting roof enabling access through most broads bridges.

Each of our shares (8%) enables us to four weeks a year - spring/summer/autumn and winter.  The allocations are drawn from a hat annually at the syndicate AGM, the next one being on 29 October 2017.  Dates when known will be published here.

We are selling the shares for £3000 each, price reduced June 2018.

Once purchased each owner pays a proportion of the annual running costs.  Currently £130/month per 8% share.  A copy of the annual budget is available on request.

Please pm if interested.

Thank you.

Well we now know our weeks for next year.  In a nutshell.  A week in April, one end of July, one in August, two weeks together in September and two in December one at the beginning and one at Christmas (Christmas day on board).

Please get in touch if interested.  Thanks.

Just bringing this back to peoples attention.

Soon the dark evenings will be here with a vengeance, so maybe it is the time to think of planning for the future!

  Hi Sue,

I sincerely hope that you will sell your share.

SueH    -- Jun-11-2018 @ 12:25 PM
Snap.  The sooner the better for both to be sold.  Especially as other boat shares are moving eg Ranworth Breeze, Silver Cloud and Evening Shadow to name but a few!

  Sorry Sue,

We have sold two shares since the New Year.

As you know when all the shares are sold you think you can step back and relax and then peoples circumstances change, it can be illness, change in lifestyle or employment and another share has to be sold.

At the price you have your last share for sale at potential new owners should snatch your hand off.

SueH    -- Jun-21-2018 @ 11:03 AM
Bump.  Both shares still for sale.

Can't understand why the shares are not selling. She is a lovely boat, easy to handle and very comfortable, and the asking price is really good.

When we had a share in her we took most of our winter weeks and Moonlight was quite cosy even in the coldest weather.

One of my (many) favourite things about her was the position of the fridge, halfway between the saloon and the galley and raised off the floor - no having to get on your hands and knees to see what was at the back, and when sitting in the saloon you didn't even have to get off your seat to get a bottle of beer or wine - just reach across and grab one.
