Received a 'phone call this morning from Carol and Carl at the Broadshaven, Potter Heigham, that they are moving out this Friday coming. It is not known what Punch Taverns will be doing with the pub.

Was told by a reasonably good source that the lease may
be taken on for a year by the Falstaff(?) to see how
how it goes. If it goes well they would then consider a longer lease.
Anyone else heard anything?

I reckon it is the Falgate. They were interested in it earlier in the year believing it was a potential gold-mine. The location is great but how do you overcome that awful building. If it is the Falgate I wish them well - I will drop in and find out.

Maybe they will dig a bridge bypass via the garden and charge for use. It will increase revenue  Smile

Regards
Colin

Take my advice - there is nothing so nice as messing about on the river.

The Broadshaven had two more visitors this morning.  I recognised one of them as the landlord of another pub not a million miles away.

Watch this space!
