I must say that the Kings arms must have the best carvery I have ever been to.
The choice of meats are not your normal turkey, beef or gammon.
Their choice being, lamb, pork, two choices of beef, turkey, gammon and I'm sure there where some more.
So hmuch choice on the veg front as well.
Well worth a visit.

Many thanks

Sshhhhhhh. I thought this place was my secret. Definitely a cut above most carveries in the area.

Cheers

Been using this place for years. I love Womack Staithe. When we first started going there, they had a tiny restaurant as part of the pub, which could hold about 12 people. Loved the charm, even though I wasn't keen on the pub itself. They tried to go a bit highbrow when they added the extension/restaurant about 15 years ago. They've now settled on doing popular grub. Went through a stage a few years ago where service was really poor, but seems to have improved in the past 3/4 years. I agree about the carvery and it's now the main reason we go there. I don't think it's such a secret any more though - it was packed last Wednesday!

I'm not a fan of carvery's but their normal menu food is one of the best on the Broads

Not seen that, there is a train that runs above the dining area just below the ceiling and travels through holes in the walls but can't see how it can serve customers
