The Ship was actually owned by Colchester Inns between 2008 and 2016 so actually back to the old regime!

It would seem that the Kings head in Loddon has just gone back to serving food.
The Angel however still seems to be in the midst of a rebuild. The Loddon swan and Chedgrave's White Horse still carry on.

If in a car be advised that the Gull on the 146 which was supposed to reopen in January 2017 was still being worked on last week. The feather is also having a part rebuild but is still open (not on Monday) with really good food.

Hi fourjays. We ate at the Recruiting Seargent at Coltishall last night. Good beer, food ( Large portions) and service. About 10 minutes walk from Coltishall Common (You can get nearer, depending on your boat, if you can get up to Coltishall Lock,) Tonight we ate at the Dog Inn at Ludham. As with the Recruiting Seargent, Good beer, food and service plus we also had free entertainment provided by An Evening with Bob which was very good. 5 minutes walk from Ludham Bridge moorings.

Pedro's is definitely worth visiting. I happened to have lunch there just a couple if times, and the food was fresh and delicious while the staff was friendly and attentive. I think, you'll like it.
