I wanna know which pubs are the best to you is it because the beer, (colder or their in house special) or is it about how it looks and feels, or is it because the people there are v.friendly, or anything else you can think of. Give me you feedback plz. I JUST WANNA KNOW YOUR FAVS NOT WHAT OTHERS HAVE SAID.
    THANKS IN ADVANCE...

Hi Mate.
Well.
At the Moment my top Pub is the Ship at Sth Walsham.
Followed by the Fur and Feathers ,
im sorry to say i really dont like most of the pubs at the River Side cos they are owned by large chains.
But a lot of the village pubs are SpoT On, cos they are owned in house.
But saying that the
New inn at Horning is INHOP very good  free riverside mooring as well.
Next please.

Well for me I would look for at least one well kept real ale (no John Smiths Smooth ice cream soda please) a pleasant atmosphere, barstaff and or landlord who will give you a smile occasionally and who do give some recognition that you are a customer. The Woodfordes shouldn't run out half way through the evening, the landlord shouldn't kick you into the street on the dot at 11 and rant and rave. Good quality live music would be a bonus for me, as good quality home cooked (not re-heated carvery) grub. few decent malt whiskys would be nice.

Not much to ask?  tounge-in-cheek

I reckon the Ship at South Walsham is as close as you would get. White horse at Upton, would have said the Lion at West Somerton but beleive it has changed hands recently. (ooops!! Fur and Feather!! Heaven. losing me touch......

My 2p

Cheers

Howard

I think the best pub is The Kings Arms in Ludham, Great food in the bar and the restaurant. Friendy staff and always very clean.

Come on Lenny surely you have to join in this one!

Really like the ferry inn at horning has a great food I think it's great to sit outside next to the river watching anything also like it inside think it's a great family pub. Other pub I like is one down oulton broad  can't remember the name but I know that the bar roof is covered in football shirts and behind the bar they have framed shirts saying waveny gunners in the restraunt side it's covered in loads of old photo's of oulton and had good food when I was there 4 years ago.
