Not sure why people wouldn't like it!!! If they don't like BB, then perhaps its time to try other yards.

OK Royalls were universally liked but there are other yards on the Broads, many of which people speak highly of too.

They also seem to have "Bleached" those wonderful orange
GRP surfaces inside as well.

You can't blame Barnes for getting rid of the orange. The boats look much better.
I've also noticed that Barnes are displaying hoseasons stickers on some of there boats instead of the blakes ones.

The main thing that put me off BB was their promotion of hen and stag parties. I had previously held them in high esteme prior to this.
A more of a premium brand, but now more of the average.
My opinion of course. Business must come first, and if they have to fill bookings with drunken and noisy single sex groups then so be it.

However, what I do like about BB is that they fit mud weight winches to most craft, something now, due to failing health, has become an essential piece of equipment with a bow thruster a close second. I never thought I would admit to wanting either of those.

I would like to say that the BB boats look really fresh in their paint scheme. There were quite a lot of BB boat movements of late, test runs maybe. The season is nearly upon us.

best regards, Richard.

In my opinion, being on a boat is one of the most relaxing place to be.

I think flowers maybe refering to that the tree which was planted in memory of the old Mr Royal has been removed from the end of the key. There was a nice plauqe by it at the end of the key but the picture shows it has gone now.
