The last news I heard from one of the Rangers was the sale had fallen through due to boundary and car parking issues. My guess is it will lie empty for another few years !

A positive attitude will not
solve all your problems, but it
will annoy enough people to
make it worth the effort.

Although it doesn't answer Brian's original question I thought it would be worth mentioning that Slippery Bottoms is/are now located at the boatyard at Belaugh, (coincidentally where Kenmure was built).

I must admit that I heard that too but have heard nothing to confirm it. As far as SB's are concerned, I not sure they had the whole building - it might be wrong to assume that they were told to leave as I guess Belaugh is probably cheaper.

In the past the chief obstacle to any sale has been a traffic limitation on the lane but again cannot give chapter and verse I' m afraid! It is an odd mixture of office and other fancy accommodation although the workshop is very decent. Another issue is they do not have a slip, merely a small hoist.

They were told to leave by August 17 th,a great shame as Chris was doing a good job ,it's far too far to get my half decker to Belaugh. He did have the whole building but sub let it.He was A1 launching Jamesia 1 after her full rebuild
