Hi all

OK.... it's the first week of November ..... I am at the helm of Fair Admiral .... up ahead I spot people fishing from the right hand bank (nb. why they do this is beyond me when the Birds Eye frozen food range is so good Smile ). Coming from the opposite direction is another cruiser. The river is fairly narrow so I want to move further over to the starboard side but equally I don't want to interfere with the fishermen/women. What is the accepted procedure under such circumstances? Equally, when simply passing people fishing when space is not a problem, what are you expected to do at the helm?

Any comments would be welcome.

Thanks

Simon

Hi Steve and Vicky

Thanks for the link... very informative.

I should have searched the forums a bit more thoroughly before posting.
