Hi.

My Dad sails model yachts ( one meter class ) but has been wondering for some time if there was a kit to built model wherry, or a kit of similar that could be modified.

Any thoughts ?

Thanks.

Michael.

PS: great site, some amazing models.

PPS : I'll also pass on the LB club site details as we only live about 7 miles from LB.

Cheers.

Hi

Ro.je Wow I don't really know what to say about your amazing Model Boats. The model of the Broom Admiral is beautiful, they all are but I have a particular soft spot for a particular Broom Admiral and seeing your model has stunned me. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is just perfection. Thanks for sharing them with us all.

Sloshed Last year at the Model Boat Show at Gt.Yarmouth Marina Centre there were several Model Wherries next door to the stand that the Albion Wherry Trust had. I am sure that some were based on a fibreglass hull that was going to made into a kit. The show was in October 2004.

Roya I think you once asked about Kits or Plans for a Broads cruiser. In Model Boats June 2005 they gave a freelance Broads cabin cruiser plan away. I thought it looked OK until I saw Ro.je super models !

They are absolutely fantastic.

I've been tempted to build a remote control model of our 1965 Broom Commander, but I doubt I have the skill to build something with the level of detail I'd like.  I certainly don't have the free time - race cars and boating see to that!
