Hi folks

As the 2011 season is rapidly approaching I'm thinking about accessorising.

I'm trying to find a approx 10 foot fast dinghy / dory type tender to tow behind my seamaster.

Now I could just pop off an order for a 3 meter Honwave, but i've come up with a cunning plan.

I come over to the broads for a long weekend, and buy a used dinghy, I'll bring my outboard, buy the dinghy sat am, license, and use it for the weekend, and take it home the following week.

But this plan sort of revolves round there being a good concentracted  source of small boats for sale on the Broads... So my question.. is there such a place?

for reference a Honwave retails at about £750 for a 3 meter solid floor, so realisticly my max is about that.

? <-- That's the question mark that I should have put in the thread title.

No is the  general answer to your question!!!!!
Quite a few sell dinghies like JB in Horning but quality
dinghies in Norfolk are even more at a premium than
bigger boats and will disappear very quickly!!
Keep an eye on this site - no premium down there

Well, I found one.

ON Ebay of all places, so if you live in North Norfolk, and you're selling your Jeanneau Rigiflex tomorrow.

I'll see you tomorrow Smile

just in case anyone else is thinking about buying a dinghy, avoid the BIC 8 footer.
I bought one and it's one of the most unstable craft I've ever had the misfortune to sit in. next to no freeboard and feels like the nose would swamp if the engine was opened up too far (That's just a 2.5hp yamaha)

Honesty and Integrity ... When you can fake those, you've cracked it.
