Welcome to The Norfolk Broads Forum

I have asked Richard's permission for this and he has given the OK so here goes!
Davedownunder and his wife are coming back to the Broads from Australia this year and would like to meet up with forum members old and new. As this needs to be an , and that there is no Official Meet this year, it has been mentioned that a few members would like to have an Unofficial Meet anyway. I feel that it would be a good excuse to have one! I feel that the event should be totally informal and anyone coming should bring and cook their own food and drink and that way we can just all mix and chat away without trying to sort a BBQ or other stuff. What does the membership think? To fit into Dave's holiday itinerary, there are two dates for this to work for them which are Saturday June 23rd and Saturday 7th July. Salhouse Broad being the venue as it can be booked and anyone coming by car can get to us without the need for a ferry. Ranworth is not easy on Leanne either. Passage time through Yarmouth for the 23rd is around 14.00hrs, and for the 7th it is around 11.45hrs for anyone who wishes to attend from the South. Passage time to Salhouse being about 4.1/2hrs. What do people think on this?
I'll update this post as to those wishing to attend:-

Thanks guys. When we have a few more 'interests' I will start to make a list. The reason for the 23rd is that they are collecting the boat from NBD. The 7th is middle of the hire from Silverline and they will be over the 'North Side' for a few days before heading off South again. They are here for 3 weeks.
Hi Bill. I'm OK with booking the mooring numbers myself but I do believe that camping can be booked as I have regularly seen tents up on the bank as well as cars. If enough interest is shown, I'll enquire for that too but remember that this is an informal meet. Were you planning on turning up? been a long time since we saw you last!
