I agree Pally something needs to be done to preserve Craigs legacy but the NBN is not the vehicle todothis, they will inevitably corrupt the pureness of Craigs work and find some way to monetize the site which is something I know would not be Craigs wish, His familly of course must be consulted as of course must Horning Gallery. I persinally would like to see someone like the young lady who runs Broadland memories take it under her wing and would gladly offer financial support to enable the transition.

if it is to be it is up to me.

Whilst merging Boats of the Broads with Broadland Memories might be a good idea, although maybe more than Carole would be prepared to take on, she would need a backroom team of maybe 3 or 4 people who would be prepared to maintain and update the content.

I believe this is what is under consideration https://forum.norfolkbroadsnetwork.com/topic/18757-sad-news/?do=findComment&comment=311356

I hope Richard doesn't mind me posting the link.

Only a few days before Craig had a heart attack , we were out on the river and passed him , moored in one of his usual spots , happy smiles and waves as we went by . Now only days after is tragic passing , folks from all sides are discussing his web sites . Surely this is a matter for his family to decide in future times . Our thoughts are with his family at this very difficult time .  .

Such limited discussion has been in terms of preserving his legacy in his name. Of course, it is for his family to decide, but what better way could there be to keep his memory alive as a true Man of the Broads.

Hi Danny, hope you are well.

Yes, very sad news about the lovely Craig. Amazing chap with a great love for The Broads, and in his own words ( I recall) a "nerdy" interest in facts and figures and data, which combined with his love for the Broads gave us all much pleasure and info.

Take care, and all the best,  Karen & Mike
