HI all,
as you may have noticed the site is having a few probs.
Richard has just moved back to the UK.and things are a tad more expensive over here.
To those of you that do contribute thank you so much,
to those of you thinking about it please do.
can you imagine life with out our little bit of cyber space..
Any one who would care to donate a little can use Pay Pal or PM me for the sites British Bank Account details.
I thought the price of a Sunday News paper may be about right once aweek paid monthly.
every pennie will go into the site, one day may even get a decent server system.
Blimey.

Mods if you will please make this sticky.

Fully seconded  Cheers

Think of it as an investment; an investment in your enjoyment Smile

I've had so much fun out of this site, I've had so much information as to be untrue (info which would have probably cost had I gone to a shop or yard(not that I object to paying a yard etc), I've had so much help and I've made a few mates along the way and had some brilliant bank / bar side chats.
These things I can't put a price on, and I know my sub is but a drop in the ocean (or should that be river.

I might not know all of you, but I would find it difficult to enjoy the broads so much without you.

Subs via Paypal is a doddle and subs via the UK bank account is just as easy.

As Roy said the cosy of a Sunday paper ain't much, but it would go a long way to keeping things running.

But very well said Roy, very well said.

regards

Am I right in assuming that the paypal payments now remain in sterling and aren't being converted to USD and back?

Good point PL, I think Richard might have to make a change to his paypal account for currency else he might well pay a currency charge.

PL you are way ahead of me on that one but i guess Richard has got it sorted.
Wish we could get Sir Alan Sugar on board to sort it for us.
Hmm there is a thought.

Thats all right Roya. I'll take that as a hint, (tee hee!) just dropped some coffers in the tin via Paypal.

wow - many thanks folks, much appreciated.

To add to the mix the hosting company are giving me grief about the site load, so I might have to change hosts. Only problem there is it looks like we'll have to be moving shortly as BT have informed me that it'll be 2-6 months before I can get broadband. Next problem please Smile
