Evening all - and Happy New Year (although I'm not the first to say it I know!!)

Just spotted a Bourne 35 project on eBay (and she really is a project!!) - wonder if anyone wants to hazzard a guess as to her identity, as I assume ex Broads?

I see someone has already asked the seller her history (is it one of our forum boaties I wonder?) but the seller seems quite vague.

See:

Best wishes,

James.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Yea, I reckon you're right.

Always a shame to see Broads boats in such condition isn't it though.

Always fascinates me that someone at some point has bought this boat in fine condition and then seen their investment deteriorate because of lack of maintenance.

Anyone guess her history then nerdy boating type people?

Cheers,

James.

OK Nerdy hat on Smile

Assuming the windows are original, I cannot match her to any of the Bourne 35's I have photos of (and that includes a number not illustrated on the database)

yes craig

ithink you are right, it doesn't look like a bourne
to me either. the shape of the bow isn't a bourne, and only two windows looking forward from the helm.
at first glance i thought it may have been a boat
similar to the royal gem class at richardsons, yes i know those are 40 ft but these ebay sellers are some times a little out in there estimations.
i am still browsing the mags

tell me where i am pilot,
not where i should be
