I was asking about the bridge heights as I have been there with the Freeman many times but weren't sure about the air draft of Pandora.  Will have to start getting the measurements sorted ASAP.

Paul,
When we passed earlier this year it was 6.2" at the Brundall end and 5.6"  at the Norwich end.
Looking at your video it shows some quite big boats moored on the island so if you choose the right time Pandora might just fit.

I think you are right Doug.   Just trying to get my head around the new boat as I knew the Freeman like the warts on Daf's head  lol!  This one is another kettle of fish.  Still by the summer I should be more confident with the air draft - - - I hope. !

and over 8.5' at the Norwich end, it was a bit weedy near the Norwich end but plenty depth.

It's great to see these aerial shots of Thorpe Island where I am moored.  I don't believe it has been filmed in this way for some years.

As for the bridge, up to 8 feet is regularly possible, anything less the 8 feet is even more regularly attainable.  Just occasionally there can be a series of high tides, so it's best to plan ahead as much as possible if you're over 7'6" or so.

I have a neighbour who had an air draft of 8'3" and he managed to get in and out quite regularly.

We have been through on several occasions and I always
thought that there was only about 3" difference in
height between the 2 bridges? Or have I missed something?
Nick, tell me, you should know!

Edited to add:- When are you going to do a 'fly through'
of a bridge then Paul  Scared
