This little terror crossed our bows as we motored up the Ant, approaching How Hill today.

Incidentally, I did call in at the How Hill BA Information Office, to ask if this was something that should be reported, as mink are very destructive. I received a rather cool response. A ranger I asked a bit later on didn't know if there was a reporting procedure. There's nothing much to be found on the Internet, either.

I have just phoned the BA and was put through to Erica Murray (Ecologist), who was very interested in the sighting and took full details.

Hello there,

I found this forum and post today, so i thought I would register to give some info about me and the project I work for since this picture relates to it.

I work for a project called the Norfolk Mink Project which has been running since 2003, our aim is to protect our native wildlife, especially water voles from American Mink, I will add a link to our site with more information. I have built a website for the project which has been online only for a couple of months or so which is one reason you would not have found much information back in April, well mainly for Norfolk.

I can confirm your sighting was passed on to me by Erica Murray and put into our database, unfortunately this one has not been picked up by anyone and the last sighting close to How Hill since then was at Potter Heigham.

Website: -  Norfolk Mink Project

Many thanks

Stephen.
