Until recently, the boat was wintered in dry dock at the Whelpton Boat yard.

Parish council own the mooring rights. Well maintained, grass cut regularly
When I purchased the boat in September 2010, she was in a sorry state.

We immediately had her lifted out and put on the hard at Whelpton Boat yard.

Whelpton Boat Yard have serviced her ever since they had her in their fleet, oil change etc (30 years)

My husband and myself stripped the boat down that year and primed and repainted her.

There are other works and services we have done.

I will list them for you here:

Boat hull was stripped back, primed, repainted
Deck stripped back, primed and repainted, and anti slip Kiwi paint was applied to decks.

Bilge total stripped and anti fouled

Boat yard replaced mast mount with hard wood mounting block
    Stainless steel Bow sprite added
All windows have been replaced and tinted
    New hatch made (mahogany)
Completely rewired through out, new lights fitted, new electrical fuse box and accompanying parts
Batteries removed from engine bay under steps and put into locker space for easier access
All bunk bedding has been re upholstered with high grade material that is water proof
Cabin remodelled, gas cooked removed,  replaced with new storage cupboards, painted and varnished. (Mahogany)
Cabin toilet doors fitted for privacy
Cockpit cover/awning was made with wooden frame July 2012 £1000
Cockpit has been remodelled to sleep 2 with appropriate bedding cushions.
Cockpit has day cushions for using when cruising
    Accelerator stripped and refitted
    All sheets have been replaced
Blocks, fix eyes, shaft/bkt, braid replaced
Stainless steel steps added to stern
Cock pit seating remade in mahogany and oak
    All interior stripped and repainted
    Bilge pump stripped and refitted
    New starter solenoid fitted 2016
    New leisure battery this year
Oct 2017 dynamo cleaned and refitted

Also included is :

Large main sail and mainsail cover.
    2 Jib sails
    1 Genoa sail
      Boom cover

All in all a much admired boat, it is always a head turner, and the moorings are amongst the cheapest, with turning circle and access to facilities, lifting out, and hard etc,

There is a host of other items but it would be silly to list them.

Until my husband was diagnosed with a terminal illness there was no expense spared on the boat, the last time we went out, he unfortunately, had problems keeping his balance.

Approx cost for year

Mooring fees 2016/2017     £600.00
Boards Authority licence 2016/17   £157.02
Insurance for boat approx per annum £180.00
(Insured £7,500)
