Hi all, New member of your forum here.  Not expecting anyone to give away any secrets, just a bit ofgeneral info please regarding piking around horning area. I am a keen pike angler with limited experience of the broads.I'm Planning a boat and bank fishing trip for a couple of days around horning Wroxham area end of October.

Any tips on marks from boat or bank on  bure, ant or adjoining broads greatly appreciated.

Hi, Fishermanfred and welcome to the Forum  Smile

Not an angler myself, but there's plenty on here who are, and will no doubt offer the advice you're after.

Good luck with your fishing all the same.

Steve.

Not quite an ancient mariner ..... though some say he was at sea before Pontius was a pilate !

Personally I would try a little further upstream from Wroxhan Broad (which is always worth a go) through Wroxham Bridge past Bridge Broad. Give the areas around the boat yard entrances special attention and you could also have a quick trip around Daisy Broad. Trolled Deads or Trolled lives (oars only) or slow sinking Glide baits or big Rubber Shads could be worth a go.

Good Luck

Think the pike fishing all the way from one end of Horning to the other seems to produce fish, better if you are mobile and just spend a bit of time in a spot then move along.

A good idea to visit Bass On line fishing shop in Horning. Not only do they do fishing tackle and boat hire but are Pike specialists

Edited to say...That's if your still here or for when you come again

Its not the destination its the journey that matters
