just wanted to share my photo of my first big pike we have had a wonderful week in a lodge down brimbelow road hoveton with the garden leading onto a large dyke , never fished for pike before and honestly was shaking when my husband landed it for me ,he then went on to catch a further 3 ,aswell as big perch rudd and roach glad the pike took my bait before the otter did

Fab well done we are staying in bure lodge on brimbelow rd on the4th nov for a week glad to know the pike fishing is good what cottage were u in out of interest

Its the second year running for us at rosemere there are some big pike , last year one kept trying to take our roach we nicknamed it the general , the last day our neighbour caught him , is the otter still about ?

Yes the otter still making an appearance every now and again. had some nice pike so far 4 in total biggest is 16lb 9 oz

Had an amazing weeks fishing 5 pike ,plenty of big roach and lost 3 pike aswell.bure lodge cottage is stunning too will deffo book it again.home now but back for 1 week on the 30 dec in peninsular cottages.

Hi Swanseaboy had a few pike out at the cottages recently, on lures and deadbaits, my favourite spot is off the corner furthest from the bridge and suspending deadbaits off the private boats at the entrance to the basin. Also had a few out from the basin itself. Watch out for the otter he was actually chasing my baits in last week.
