Has anyone got any good tips for good places to fish for pike in the Northern Broads?

Haven't fished up there for nearly 15 years - last attempt was a miserbale failure.

Thanks

Art

You cant realy go wrong anywhere above Potter Heigham bridge. Somerton,Horsey or Hickling especialy i have found in September or October( it gets too cold for me after that) !!

Anyone know how Hickling broad and the upper Thurne are fishing at the moment?. We have a boat out from Whispering reeds from Tuesday 5th Oct till Saturday. Usually in the Pleasure Boat till closing!! so if any local members are around would be nice to have a chat.

The tide is still high so you may well be confined above Potter Heigham Bridge. There was just 6 ft clearance yesterday. That's not enough for Woodwose to get through.

Thanks Woodwose. We always ,on our autumn fishing trip, stay above Potter Heigham so the bridge is not a problem. Will be in the Falgate on Wednesday night for the quiz night ( great fun)if you are anywhere near.
