Could be... truth is I don,t know. The only clue is on the back it has Wroxham 2102 and fine art dealers. A lot of people have looked at it and all think somewhere on the Thurne. Seems odd not to include the mill though. The burgee and symbol on one of the sails don’t help locating but would be interested to know what you all think. The picture sold at auction but was never collected and after difficulty trying to trace the bidder I have become the latest custodian. The seller had no idea either..
That’s worth a punt stix, I did wonder if the thick pole up or down stream could be a wherry mast but I’m surprised the knitter didn’t adarn it with a Jenny Morgan. The attention to detail is such that I think it must have been done from a photo or a painting.
Keep the suggestions coming in. I wish google had driven a boat for a RiverView vista!
