Hi All, I have booked a week during the summer on Brinks Rhapsody. I have read and watched London Rascals review (great detail thanks LR). Just wondering if anyone had anything to add after 18 months. Any info on fuel use would be interesting. Not that I'm bothered as the main reason for choosing this boat is the idea of near silent running. The last boat I hired was Fair Countess back in 2009 and whilst cruising with the canopy closed, the racket the engine made just took the edge of what otherwise was a great weeks holiday. Also are there any differences between Rhapsody 1 and 2.

I too haven't been on the Broads for sometime, other than the odd dayboat trip. I've booked Rhapsody in July and it looks a great choice for an old cruiser. What were your conclusions and any tips or info you'd like to share?

I've no experience of this particular boat but I've recently hired whisper emblem from ferry marine. It's difficult to describe how relaxing it is cruising with the engine off. It really is sublime. Plus the ability to leave moorings early in the morning without disturbing anyone and equally arriving at a busy mooring late at night without anyone noticing. It really changes the holiday experience for the better. Pottering along in silence from the top deck is almost coma inducing, broken only by the occasional clatter of a passing diesel. Fantastic.
