Has anyone any photos of inside of Grecian Girl.

Robert if you are reading this I'm sure you said you were on her in April and if so how was your holiday on her and did you get any pictures?

Hope you had a fantastic time.

Hi Debbie

No pictures I'm afraid - sorry! But we did have a great time.

Good points:
- The best presented boat I've ever been on. Spotlessly clean, including the engine, everything neat and tidy and in good working order
- Enormous saloon, and I mean enormous, makes a great living space.
- External steering position is great, although you do sit a bit high for the screen to have much effect
- Very smooth cruiser with little engine noise and amazingly little wash for such a beast
- Summercraft seem to be an excellent, helpful yard

Bad points
- She's a bit of a tank, so be careful in narrow spaces and in wind. A much bigger turning circle than other boats we've had of similar size
- Sleeping accommodation is a bit cramped, especially for anyone over 6'
- If like me you like fiddling with mooring ropes etc you'll be disappointed. There's only one proper cleat on the boat (at the bow). The stern has 2 bars set into the deck with the ropes permanently attached. I did not like this at all and I'd hate to use this boat on the Southern Broads with their greater tidal range, or in any situation where you really need to have your lines securely fastened aboard the boat, or want to leave a mooring using a slip.
- The mooring ropes are in my view dangerously short
- The internal steering position is b****y awful, but then we hardly used it

Would I hire her again? Probably not. Too much like a floating hotel and not enough like a proper boat. There are better 42 footers around, at least for our requirements. But I would try Summercraft again.

Hope that helps. I'm sure you'll have a good time

All the best
