Hi, folks. Following a suggestion from NBF member 'blackwaterboy' and the fact that the availability of petrol is a fairly regular question, this thread has been made 'sticky' so it stays near the top.

Please add fuel availability locations which you think would be helpful to anyone using petrol-engined propulsion either for their boat or outboard.

I will add any of your suggestions to the definitive list. Your post will then be removed so as to make this thread readable at-a-glance.

Thank you.

NORTHERN RIVERS

River Thurne
Martham - Riverside (Info from Rondonay) As at January 2012, there is some confusion as to whether this yard is still selling petrol. It would be advisable to check with them before making the journey. Phone : 01493 740249
Potter Heigham - Short walk from bridge towards Repps Village (Info from Steve) Beware! The short walk from Potter to Repps might be wasted, the garage there is known to run out! (Info from JennyMorgan 27/01/12)
Womack Water (Ludham) - Ford garage on Stalham Road in the village. Short walk from the staithe. (Info from Bugsy). Please be aware that this garage is not open on a Sunday and is open for only half a day on a Saturday. (Info from Calixte 08/06/12)

River Ant
Stalham - Tesco (Info from Steve)
Wayford Bridge (Info from Steve)

River Bure
Coltishall - Coltishall Island - Jet Garage (Info from ncsl 09/05/12)
Wroxham - jet garage on Norwich road. Decent walk from river (Info from Steve and Rondonay). This garage is only a short walk from Caen Meadow moorings (Info From Tim)
Horning - Please note that petrol is no longer available from the Ferry Marina
Acle - Garage about 15 - 20 minutes walk from Acle Bridge if desperate (Info from Aclepob)
Great Yarmouth - Shell garage Marina Keys or Asda from BA moorings (Info from Steve)

SOUTHERN RIVERS

River Wensum
Norwich - Morrisons (Info from Glen_Mist)
Norwich - Esso garage on Mousehold Lane, Norwich (top of Corbett Avenue) is the cheapest garage in the area. Normally at least a penny cheaper than supermarkets. Obviously you will need to get the fuel from there to the boat (Info From GaryCantley)

River Yare
Brundall - Brooms
Brundall Gardens - From 24 hour mooring, 30 minute walk up to A47. Garage on the roundabout. (Info from Tim). Additionally, Brundall Motors supply petrol during normal hours. Closer than A47. (Info from padge 09/05/12)

River Chet
Loddon - Garage on main road at Hales 20 minutes walk from the staithe (Info from Tim)
If you moor up at Pyes Mill for petrol at Loddon, Hales Service Station is a lot closer to walk to from there. (Info from Pulse)

River Waveney
Oulton Broad - shell, Near North railway station) (Info from Jaguar)
From the Yacht Station you have two options, both involve a fairly long walk. Just beyond the Oulton Broad North Station or head South along the Beccles Road to Tesco. Those requiring two stroke oil should pop into Jeckells which is in the centre of the village. (Info from Jenny Morgan 08/11/10)
Burgh St.Peter - Waveney River Centre (Info from Pandora-3) £1.75 per litre as at 03/06/12 (Info from Richard 08/06/12)
Beccles - If you moor near the big road bridge (first one you come to) & walk up the path up the side of the bridge onto the main road, Morrison's is a fairly short walk. If you moor at the Quay then Tesco is probably a little closer, but there isn't much in it.
(Info from Rez)

John
