"Hi"
have found myself running short on time this year, what with a holiday at the end of march and easter falling early I was wondering if anyone could recommend a boat yard that could just clean off some light dirty marks with a product called T.L.C and then do the complete boat with a product called Poliglow, normal takes me two to three days to complete the job but just do not have the time this year, she is out of the water on her trailer and she is a Freeman 23, so any advice or help would be great.
Thanks
Mike  Question

Kindest Regards Mike

You might make it just a little easier for us to recommend someone for the job, were you to give some gentle indication as to where the boat is.  Smile

The problem is where you are moored getting permission for someone to go and clean it for you

The OP says his Freeman 23 is out of the water and on its trailer, so I guess the OP could take the boat anywhere that is necessary.

Of course we don't know the locality of the trailered boat, which as has been said would help enormously.  Wink

Boat yards (if that is where this boat is) are quite amenable to specialists doing work. It is simply a matter of obtaining permission, and letting the boat yard manager know when the person has arrived. This way the boat yard knows who is about, and what their purpose is. The boat yards don't like unannounced people walking about their place. Neither would I.  Wink

"Hi" All,
Sorry I did not give you the location on as it is on its own trailer I could run it into who ever is happy to do the job, as for the mooring this would not be a problem but the job is much better done whilst out of the water than whilst in.
Thanks
Mike

Kindest Regards Mike

Mike, Please meet us half way on this. Can you get the boat down to Exeter, or would Inverness be easier?

Well, I don't know! Sump people!!

I tend to exagerate things by way of illustration, usually it helps, but it would seem not in this case.
I live in Hertfordshire. I suspect this will be of little use to you. I have to assume this as you refuse to say where your boat is. I assume your boat is in Norfolk, though as it's on a trailer this is not necessarily the case.
Should your boat be in the vicinity of Oulton Broad (Suffolk) it would be a bit of a haul to take it to someone living in Cromer who might be happy to help you, and so on and so forth.
I was not alone in asking where the boat was, and it seems to me that if you want work done on it, this knowledge might assist someone.
Your reluctance in telling us where the boat is, strikes me as, at best a little odd, and at worst, downright suspicious. Still, Up to you!!!

Might the voice of reason (female  Tinhat) suggest that the OP pm's one of you the whereabouts of his  boat.   May be he doesn't want the world and his wife to know.  Thinking about it perhaps even ex-wife to know!!   Don't shoot the messenger just trying to help.

Women dont nag they just point things out...
