Have you tried googling mp4 to wmv Dave?

Lots of results but not owning anything that makes MP4 files I cant try them myself.

yes tried that you only get evaluated versions where you

prints a watermark on the converted file

If it hasn't sorted it, I find this to be the best universal converter prog, (with a free try before buy as well). Smile

It may also be that Windows simply doesn't have the codec to handle the particular mp4 variant your camcorder produces. I'd recommend the k-lite codec pack which will allow Windows to handle most video and audio:

If you just want to watch it on your PC, rather than edit it in another format, then you could use Videolan.
It's a free media player with all of it's own codecs that's played everything I've thrown at it.

It's an essential app for me, that I install on alll of my PCs.  Smile

I use Pinnacle 12. It's a bit pricey but does a good
job and I have had no issues with it at all. Around £80 at PC World I think.

You only get one body, please it as often as you can! I do....
Morgage free and afloat at last too! (But an empty wallet)
