We (Paul & Angela as well as our little dog Dilly) have just purchased our first boat Naxos a 23ft Falcon 23 SPC currently moored in Acle Boatyard. We enjoy exploring Norfolk so we are looking forward and excited to spend time on the Broads.Currently waiting for a Marine Engineer booked for 9th October 2017 to sort a couple of minor jobs on the engine and stern drive before we embark on our first trip out.So in the meantime I/we have been busy doing odd jobs  and just cleaning where we can. I would like to update this boat to 21st century so any advice or pointers would be most welcome, especially reupholstering, deck covering (flexi-teak???) and gel coat improvements as it has some "spider cracks" etc.. We are both professional people so looking forward to chilling out on our boat and welcome any other boat owners to drop by and say hello when we are aboard.Lots of questions to be asked by us  so any advice is very welcome. Thanks

Cheers - Paul

Not quite an ancient mariner ..... though some say he was at sea before Pontius was a pilate !
