Yeah. I bet. I’ll have to wait till spring time now. Don’t think they hire out over winter but I’ll be out on her 3 or 4 times next year I reckon. It’ll be a few years before ours is back in the water.

She used to be a beauty and she will be again. I learnt to fish from her deck and also how to fall in the drink as a kiddie. She’s been on dry land for decades and now it’s time for her to return where she belongs  Smile

When I saw your Avatar I thought that it was Luna. In fact looking at the water damage to the top of the photo I would say it is my photo but that is not a problem. The picture was given to me by a previous owner John and Mary Platt now long gone.

Hi Barry, yes that’s the picture and thankyou. I’ve trawled the net for months looking for pictures of her in her glory and was very excited to find this one. I’m sat in my car as I type holding my coffee mug with the picture on it ! It’s a daily reminder for me of my goal. It was fathers dream to put her back in the water. Sadly it didn’t happen in his time. It’s only as I got older I realised what he gave up because it was more important for him to help other people.  Probably my life’s biggest regret is not stepping up and getting it done for him but it will happen now in his memory.
