saw this on the B.A mooring sign seams a bit steep for an extra nights mooring. It says £3 per metre per day or part of.

Sadly attachments are not working, so cannot read the text, but 24 hour moorings are just that if some have been not playing fair then I can understand penal charges.

I'm sure it won't be too much to add this simple task to your "Targets", Andy!! Evil Grin

So the simple answer to your question is "You Are", but I'll settle my bill for any charges I incur with cups of tea to the value of, if you don't mind!! Playful Wink

£3 per meter, mmmmmm

As has been asked who is to collect this wonderful amount? Can't be a water based ranger can it? This year we have been to Rockland a few times and only seen a ranger once.
So does that mean the BA are going to lay on rangers on Disco's now?
Or is this just doing something because they can?

But that must make the staithe one of the most expensive moorings on the system then? 10m boat = £30 for one night?

I have investigated this sign, and it is correct, a charge is made by the Parish and collected by the parish.
This was done as part of the leasehold agreement between the BA and the Council, had this not been agreed too, there would have been no free 24 hour mooring. (yes, it is the most expensive over night mooring on the broads, ...............unless you know different.)
