We've not had any issues with other boats not being able to moor in the dyke,on numerous occasions assistance has been provided to craft having difficulty finding a mooring
With regard to the Wherry Yachts on the occasions the large ones have been on display Heather is moved out onto the Hotel front the smaller Wherry Yachts can fit in with ease, the dyke then being put to good use allowing the public to visit interesting historic indigenous craft.

Many Thanks Tim

Who do they pay for their mooring cost to Tim, It would be interesting to know who owns and maintains the dyke ie. pays for the dredging etc

I would guess the staithe and dyke have been there a lot longer than the pub.

An extract from this document, published by Horning Parish Council in 2013, when they gained ownership of Granary Staithe, suggests that the far side of the dyke is not actually owned by the Hotel Wroxham, although there may be some agreement with the owners of the precinct for the hotel to collect any fees. Looking at their minutes, it seems as if the dyke dredging was paid for by the PC (£25,000+).

”The quay-heading of the dyke alongside the staithe, and jointly owned with the owners of the Hoveton Riverside shopping precinct, needs renewing and the dyke dredging and tidying.”

"..for the avoidance of any doubt, the broads are not legally a national park and do not come under the national park legislation, and nor will they."
Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for DEFRA (Hansard 2015)
