I think the building that the old store was in is virtually falling down.  Wooden construction and much of the wood is rotten.  BA don’t seem to have decided what to do with it yet, but it will either need major refurbishment or demolition.  A mobile catering service may be a stop gap for this season.  If the building is refurbished a shop/cafe/TIC could be (re) established.  If the building is knocked down a mobile catering outlet might become permanent.  Makes sense in many ways. The old shop only operated for the summer season, and otherwise just sat there all winter earning nothing.  A mobile caterer could take advantage of the summer trade, with less overheads than the shop (no business rates to pay for example), and trade elsewhere during the winter.

Hmmm I think I'll pass on that location! But I hope someone will pick it up, but unless the rent is under £1200 PA I can't see it working.
