Noted but that was all over a year ago presumably someone has had thoughts since then.  CERTAINLY THERE SEEMS TO BE NO REAL CONSIDERATION OF INFORMATION CENTRES OR EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES.

Like Bill I have to agree with Mardler on this one. There are already educational facilities both at How Hill and Whitlingham so why the need at Acle? It does seem to me that the whole concept is wrong for Acle Bridge. As has been suggested perhaps Whitlingham would be better suited.

Satire is not to everyone's liking but nevertheless it often contains more than a grain of truth as it does here. For Axle read Acle.

I think most people will think the jury's out on this one.

The BA did well to buy the site, for a price of just above £100k? did I read? Bargain.

The current shop is not viable as a shop, and the building is a shed. A pretty shed but I suspect any builder would say its is a 'knock down and start again job'

It will be interesting to see what people come up with for the site.

Having spent a noisy night quite a long way from the bridge I can tell you there is a lot of traffic along that road at all times, so maybe the footfall does justify the location.

£750k does seem quite a lot but if that is for everything I'm not sure an architect would see it as being enormously generous.

I think we will have to wait and see...

Do any Forum members live in Fleggborough Parish who could raise this with them before any Planning Application goes in?

I agree with Bill regarding the purchase of the Acle Bridge moorings, a good deal for the toll payer. Where I suspect that we differ is in our support, or not, of JP's vision for the site.
