had a good day on caravelle yesterday, cleaned front and cockpit , just needs silt n rubbish digging out of very bottom of hull. theres a hole in water tank so will replace it with a plastic one, and the best news she has lifted about 4 inches out the water, so the hole in the transome is clear of the water. i put another pump and float in there too. will take some pics saturday as i was to dirty to use my camera yesterday.

Hope it's not too difficult to get her back to being sturdy and beautiful! Your sure making fast progress, looking forward to seeing pics throughout the restoration and when she's finished! Smile

Hi Gary

See you are going to replace the water tank. I had to replace one of our 2 last year and after a lot of searching I came up with this company http://www.plasticwatertanks.co.uk/ run by a real genuine chap call Neil Woodhead.

He custom made mine in 2 weeks! and it was so well made I hated to cover it up LOL

The really big bonus was the fantastic price just £205 delivered to my home!!!!!

Can't praise his work highly enough and he is so helpful. Not to surprisingly he can get very busy so contact him as soon as you can to give him as much time as you can.

John.

I think the boat at the back is a Caravelle, don't know if its yours though. The front one is Constellation 2. Pic taken in Sept 66.

Hi Bill

Horning. The Swan is about 50 yards to the left.
