Dear All

Further to my e-mail below, please find attached NTM No. 18 of 2017 with corrected information regarding a sunken vessel in SE approaches to Lowestoft Harbour.  NTM No 17 is hereby cancelled.

Kind regards

I would give you the text, but it's a PDF file. Concerning a boat that has sunk near Lowestoft.

NOT the Broads

Have the Broads Authority ANY idea as to what happens on the BRoads, or even where the Broads ends, and the North Sea starts?

Hi Richard

Didn't you get the memo from JP?

The Broads National Parks now includes the whole of the North Sea, soon to be extended by executive order of JP to include a he Atlantic Ocean and if he gets away with that the World the whole wide world!!!

Richard,
The BA is a legally constituted Harbour Authority therefore, they are duty bound to disseminate NTM from the adjoining Harbour Authorities that may affect users of their harbour area. Hence they are required to publish warnings issued by GYP&HC and Lowestoft Harbour. Just because the majority of us ditch crawl and never venture out through Yarmouth or Lowestoft does not mean that others from (or passing by and dropping in to) the Broads will not need this information.
You are not required to rebroadcast their warnings. Might I suggest that, if you think it has no relevance to the users of your site and if it will help to keep your blood pressure under control Playful Wink  you don't bother to signpost information that has already been duly published elsewhere.

John,

You are correct. I don't NEED to re-broadcast mariners Notices.

But getting correct information out is important.

So today I received this :-

quote:"......
Dear All Please find attached the ABP Notice to Mariners No. 19 of 2017 regarding yacht racing in Lowestoft South on 15 – 16 June 2017 and a chart of the course area.
......."

I think it's a July thing, not June.

This is just a basic BA cockup, that we pay for. Would you not agree?
