OH MY GOD!! WOW! Never in a million years did I think it would go to silly money level! Somebody obviously saw some serious money making potential! Or maybe it's some famous multimillionaire celebrity that is looking for a place to hide away!

One of the loveliest locations on the Broads though.

Interesting place, Polkey's.  Nice to be able to see the March of progress though the years with all the different pumps.

Anyone know anything about the house by the rail crossing which is held up by trees?

Not entirely surprised.
With the required investment and a well thought out renovation it may well prove a bargain.
A lot of cash can sometimes be generated from such projects. If however this is an act of love rather than just a financial investment the owner is almost certainly on to a winner. You cannot put a price on that sort of thing.
With a sh*tey little flat in a not great part of London fetching 3 or 4 times that value I know which I would choose.
