I spent an interesting afternoon at the Wind Energy Museum, Repps. This has the Morse collection of wind pumps from round the world. They are also the owners of Thurne Mill.

The Museum is close to the moorings at Repps Staithe and it is just a short walk. I would say that it is still very much a work in progress but well worth a visit.

They have a website https://windenergymuseum.wordpress.com/

I will post a few pictures.

We went there for a guided tour a couple of years ago. The lady who runs it is very enthusiastic. Following that some friends of ours went there and she laid on a cream tea and a visit to Thurne Mill.

Well worth a look in my opinion.
