I was under the impression that the Ferry Inn stern on mooring was on a trial basics last year and with the complaints and problems this type of mooring had other boaters there would no longer be stern on mooring in the future.

Yet the first bank holiday of 2017 the Ferry Inn was AGAIN allowing stern on mooring.

Why was this allowed?
Are we to expect this type of mooring at the Ferry Inn again?

If they did this against the BA authorities then what are the BA intending to do with the management on the Ferry Inn?

I will ask the same question in this thread now it has been started.

" I would like to ask JP why Wroxham Broad, Moorings and Staithe users do not have to pay River Tolls?

As this is is the same as other moorings and broads why do these not have to pay the same as other users of "adjacent waters".
Or it it just that all the Private Mooring Yard boaters are  getting ripped off by the BA ? "

There is a widespread perception that 24 hour moorings are being lost.
In order to bring data into this debate, can you publish 2 facts for each of the last ten years : 1. The total number of moorings. 2. The total, combined length of mooring.

If either or both are declining then can you justify that decline or describe how it can be reversed?

Bill

Can I ask ncsl to clarify his question re tolls at Wroxham Broad etc? On what basis does he believe those tolls are any different to the norm? (JP may well ask the same question so may be helpful to be prepared.)

I forgot to ask if people asking questions can ask each question on a new discussion.

Terry, all I can say is that I might not agree with what someone says, I'm a firm believer in allowing people to say what they think. Or It's better not to say anything and have people think you're an idiot, rather than open your mouth and prove they were right.

Like most I was a bit p*ssed off with the last ASK JP, as were other people, but at least you can get some answers.

And I'm still livid about the toll increase!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll now lock this thread.
