Hello all.
Yes I am still about, work is soooo busy, and i do mean busy!
No spare time for much, maybe spend some time away from the boat but no.
Any way can you answer a question about Horning?
We have booked a cottage in Horning for 11 nights over Christmas this year to New year (with mooring out fron for Delilah). Does anybody know if any pubs in Horning do anything for New Years Eve? Also what is the Ferry Boat like now? have not been in for years.
any help greatly received.

Gary

Morning  all the pubs in Horning do things on new years eve but normally you have to book especially the New Inn which only sell a limited number of tickets. The Ferry and Swan are easier to get into not sure if there is entertainment in these though

You bring back some very happy memories there.About 15 years ago we rented a cottage in Horning called Herons reach for Xmas and new year.Eight of us 4 a dults and 4 children. What a great time we had.We went to the Swan and asked if children would be allowed in on new years eve and George said its a family pub 52 weeks of the year. What a great night we had with the locals who we have got to know well over the years.Ralph,Dave Harmon,Bandarma Bob,Roland and Colin just to name a few .There was a buffet and a great firework display to finish off the evening what a great night

kindest regards . malcolm wilkinson
