Hi
I sent a private message this morning and it seems to have bounced back into my inbox, any ideas?

Hmmm, maybe the hamster's turning his wheel the wrong way.

Have you checked the recipient's addess in the sent pm? It could be you've accidentally sent it to yourself.

If a member turns off the pm facility, you should get a message to that effect.

Other than that...GARY!!!!

Forum members can opt not to receive PM communications. Maybe that offers an explanation?  Question

Keep the noise down, the hamster is trying to sleep.

Now that I am awake though Smile  Dibbler probably has the correct answer. However, the only way I can see that happening is if you replied to a PM from someone and between the time of them sending and you replying they switched off PM'ing.

Failing that, there is email, FB, Pen and paper. LOL Remember that stuff? Pen and paper? LOL

Gary.

I tried using pen and paper once before, but I couldn't get the piece of paper to fit into any of the slots in my PC tower!

I'm glad it's sorted. Just don't ask me how I thought of it though  Blush

Hello All
pm bounces back
We really have no political views to share, but do you think it was the speech she gave on Europe yesterday that did it?   Question Confused

Unlike a lot of "undocumented features" of this site, the sending a PM to yourself was planned. I needed a way I could keep track of bugs when I was away from my office, and make notes to myself rather than writing things down on the back of a fag packet.

Hi Susan,  I think you are referring to a message you sent me.  I did get it and I don't think I have pm's turned off as I have had some others.  I have just pm'd you back anyway.  Thanks for that.  Regards Carole
