Please see the important safety news relating to 3.9kg & 4.5kg butane cylinders.
Calor has made a statement to the Boat Safety Scheme about the continued supply of LPG in its small cylinder sizes, 3.9kg propane and 4.5kg butane, for the immediate future. This gives those affected boat owners an opportunity to plan for alternative arrangements – either LPG cylinders from alternative suppliers or introducing safe and well-fitted adjustments to their gas system by competent installers.

Good evening a tad confused about this gas bottle business we currently have a 4.5 butane bottle and read these will be discontinued, so we bought a 7kg and obviously it's not going to fit , but when we went to buy the regulator we where told its all change calor is going to continue ,can anyone shed any light on this for us thanks I advance maggie

Calor still intend to phase out the smaller bottles and will not be maufacturing new bottles of these sizes.

Maybe worth changing over to flo gas ? Believe a few boat owners have already due to gas bottle shortage,

They do but the catch is you probably need a cylinder to refill and there may be a surcharge for a non-Flo gas cylinder.
The good thing about Flo gas though is they have a distribution centre in Ludham so it is generally fairly easy to get hold of on the Northern Broads.
