It seems that us minions of The Forum have been led on for far too long.
For years being told that The Broads are not and never will be a National Park.
Mr Gove who is a Member of The British Government has confirmed that it is.
Will that man who runs The Broads Authority stop laughing.
(He could get a pay rise out of this)

Or has this been put in the media today to distract a sly Breaxit announcement?

If you read the Telegraph article, it says "The last time a new National Park was created was in 2009." Auntie Beeb has got it wrong again.

JP is in a cleft stick. If he insists that the Broads is a national park, the review will not include the Broads. If he wants the Broads to be included in the review, he will have to publicly admit that the Broads is not a national park, and all the rebranding was a lie (which is what we already know).

It will be interesting to see what develops, though.

Yes. As I said in the preceding post, Aunty Beeb has got it wrong again. They just suck up what National Parks UK pump out. No independent researching.

Interesting times ahead?
Gove might not be as clever as he might care to think. There is a questionable lack of democracy in regard to this issue and that could cause an unwelcome backlash.
