Boating news - Contractors will be working on our Paddy’s Lane 24 hour moorings for the next 6 to 8 weeks. Works will be underway to replace the waling/backrail on the site and to upgrade the mooring path (raising/ levelling it and filling with woodchip).

50m sections will be worked on at a time ensuring there is a significant area which will remain open for boating and foot access.

All visitors are asked to adhere to signage on site. We apologise for any inconvenience caused whilst these maintenance and improvement works are taking place.

I thought Paddys Lane moorings was in pretty good shape? Path was fine when we last moored there in the Autumn. I'm sure there was plenty of bark and an even surface with neat edges and few weeds.

I can think of far worse 24 hour mooring facilities in need of attention in terms of pathways, but would be interested to know what others think...

I agree Paddy's Lane always seems to be having a bit of a tidy up and maintenance carried out , a lot more often than some.
