Reporting speeding/other incidents ??

If you wish to report speeding on the Broads, or other incidents, please call Broads Control on 01603 756056 (or email if it is not urgent) who will log the report and task a Ranger to investigate and deal with the issue where possible.

Just as the emergency services do not encourage reporting of crime/emergencies on social media, we do not encourage the use Facebook as a means to report speeding or other ongoing incidents as our page is not continuously monitored and we can't guarantee an instant response.

Unfortunately given a few messages that we have received recently, we'd also like to say that sending abusive messages to our social media team or the Rangers will not help the situation or speed up the process of getting incidents dealt with. Our Rangers will always help where possible and are simply doing their best to help look after the waterways of the Broads.

For non-urgent reports that you wish to submit via email or contact form, if you are able to note down registration numbers/identifying features, and also take any photographs or videos that can be used as evidence then this is significantly more useful than a verbal report.

If you need to report a serious incident or emergency, where someone is injured or at risk please call the emergency services on 999 and the Police, Coastguard, Lifeboat or Ambulance services will respond.
